The Green
Earth Sciences Building is located at 367 Panama Street. It is located across
from Roble Gymnasium and adjacent to Durand.
Use/Purpose:
The Green
Earth Sciences Building houses departments within the School of Earth Sciences.
There are many offices, labs, and classrooms located throughout the building. The elevator provides access to all floors
(B, 1, 2, 3).
Accessible Entrance:
The building
has multiple accessible entrances located on both the center outdoor area of
the building and along the sides of the building. The main accessible entrances
are located in the central area which can be accessed by going down the ramps
in front of the building (Panama Street) or by walking around the back of the
building. An elevator is located inside the middle entrance on the east
side of the building. Access to upper floors of the west side of the
building is only available via the elevator on the east side and then by walking
across the walkway to the west. There are no elevators on the west side
of the building.
Restrooms:
The
first-floor restrooms are multi-occupancy all-gender restrooms. There are wheelchair
accessible men¿s and women¿s multi-occupancy restrooms centrally located on all
other floors of the west building. There
are no restrooms in the east building.
Parking & Transportation:
Disabled parking is located in Roble Field
Parking Garage at the corner of Santa Teresa Street and Via Ortega. Additional disabled parking is located in the
Via Ortega Parking Garage on the corner of Panama Street and Via Ortega. It
is about a 1-2 block walk to Green Earth Sciences from these parking garages. Marguerite
shuttle stops are located along Santa Teresa Street and Via Ortega.
