The
Lorry Lokey Stanford Daily Building is located at 456
Panama Mall. It is on the corner of Panama Mall and Duena Street.
It is directly behind Old Union.
Use/Purpose:
The
Lorry Lokey Stanford Daily Building houses operations
for the Stanford Daily, whose staff is comprised of more than 200 student
writers and editors. On the 1st floor, the Daily has several
business and financial offices and a conference room. The 2nd
floor is an open environment with a variety of workspaces.
Accessible Entrance:
There
are two entrances to the Daily. The primary entrance is located on the
north side of the building and is accessible via the sidewalk from the east
heading west via a ramp. Please note that this entrance is not accessible
from west heading east on the sidewalk. The secondary entrance, equipped
with a power-operated door, is located on the south side of the building facing
the parking lot. This entrance is accessible via an accessible pathway
from the disabled parking or from the sidewalk along Duena Street. An elevator is centrally located on the
1st floor.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair
accessible men's and women's restrooms are located on
each floor of the building.
Parking & Transportation:
There
are two disabled parking spaces in the small parking lot between Old Union and
the Daily. Additional disabled parking is located at the east end of
Panama Mall. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located at Santa
Teresa Street and Lomita Drive or behind Tresidder
Union on Lagunita Drive.
Points of Interest:
The
Daily is within close proximity of Old Union, Tresidder Union, and the Main Quad. There are a
