The William H. Neukom building is located at 555 Nathan Abbott Way. It is directly behind the Law School and
near the
Munger Graduate Residences.
Use/Purpose:
The Neukom building opened in 2011 and houses law school
clinics, seminar rooms, meeting rooms, and office space. Law School Quadrangle houses the Robert
Crown Law Library, a variety of faculty, staff, and student office space, and
several large and small classrooms and seminar rooms. There is an exterior faculty
lounge/terrace located on the 2nd floor. There are two elevators inside the
building.
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance to the
Neukom building is located near the rotunda on the
north side of the building near the back end of the Law school. Once inside, the elevator is down the
hall and on the left side after turning right. An additional accessible entrance is
located on the northwest side of the building. From the disabled parking on Lane A,
follow the accessible pathway to the entrance and the elevator is just to the
left once inside the entrance.
Another accessible entrance is located on the southeast side of the
building via the exterior walkway between the east and west sides of the
building. Once inside this
entrance, there is an elevator immediately on the left. The east and west sides of the building
can be accessed through interior walkways on the 2nd and
3rd floors. The
2nd floor exterior lounge/terrace is wheelchair accessible.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair accessible
men's and women's restrooms are located on the west side of the building beyond
the elevators and to the left on the 1st, 2nd, and
3rd floors. There are also unisex restrooms on the
1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors on the east side of
the building just beyond the elevators, turning left, and on the right
side.
Parking & Transportation:
Disabled
parking is located on Lane A adjacent to the Neukom building.
Additional disabled parking is located further down Lane A near the Munger Graduate Residences and in Parking Structure 6
(Campus Drive & Arguello
Mall).
