The
Knight Building is located at 521 Memorial Way.
It is located to the east of the Littlefield Center, at the end of
Memorial Way.
Use/Purpose:
The
Knight Building is home to the East Asian Languages and Cultures department and
the East Asian Studies department. A
variety of office space and conference rooms are located on all floors of the
building.
Accessible Entrance:
There
are several steps leading to the main entrance of the Knight Building. The accessible entrance, equipped with a
power-operated door, is located to the left of the stairs on the west side of
the building. Once inside, an elevator is located on the left and provides
access to all floors of the building (LL, 1, 2, 3). An
exterior walkway leads from the east wing of the Littlefield Center to the
accessible entrance of the Knight Building.
Additionally, the Knight Management Center is connected via internal
walkway on the 2nd and 3rd floors
Restrooms:
There
are two wheelchair accessible single-occupancy all-gender restrooms that are
located between the Littlefield Center and the Knight Building. These restrooms are located along an
accessible pathway between the east wing of the Littlefield Center and the
Knight Building via exterior entrances.
Wheelchair accessible single-occupancy all-gender restrooms are also
located on the 2nd and 3rd floor at the end internal
walkway leaving the Knight
Building and entering the Littlefield Center (right side). There
are no restrooms on the lower level (LL) of the building.
Parking & Transportation:
Disabled
parking is located at the end of Memorial Way, near the Knight Building. Additional disabled parking is located behind
the Littlefield Center on Lasuen Street. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is
located on Galvez Street and Memorial Way, or at the top of the Oval on Serra
Mall.
Points of Interest:
The
Bing Concert Hall is located to the north of the Littlefield Center on Lasuen Street. The
nearest café is located at the Alumni Center.
