Use/Purpose:
The Thornton Center houses a pair of
lecture halls, laboratories, and offices. An elevator provides access to all
floors (1, 2).
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance to the building is
located via the accessible pathway from Santa Teresa Street. The accessible
entrances to the building are located in the central area of the building on
the ground level. An alternate accessible route from Samuel Morris Way is an accessible
ramp, located on the north side of the building.There are doors that lead
directly to the lecture halls and an outdoor elevator that leads to the 2nd
floor.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair accessible multi-occupancy men¿s
and women¿s restrooms are centrally located on each floor near the elevator.
There are no single-occupancy restrooms in this building.
Parking & Transportation:
A Marguerite shuttle stop is located near
the corner of Santa Teresa Street and Lomita Drive.Disabled parking is located
along Santa Teresa Street past Lomita Drive and in the Roble Field parking
garage at the corner of Santa Teresa Street and Via Ortega.

Enjoy the outdoor space at the Terman Fountain directly across from the Thornton Center
and visit Tresidder
