The Paul G. Allen Center for Integrated Systems is
located at 420 Via Palou Mall. It is located near the intersection of
Jane Stanford way and Via Ortega, next to the David Packard Electrical Engineering Building.
Use/Purpose:
This building houses a multitude of offices for
multidisciplinary research, mostly concentrated in Electrical Engineering. Offices, lab space and conference areas
are located throughout the building, and an elevator provides access to all
floors.
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance is located on Via Palou Mall
(across from the Packard Building) and is equipped with a power-operated
door. The accessible pathway to the
main entrance is located via the wheelchair ramp at the corner of Serra Mall
and Via Palou (Paul G. Allen Annex).
Once up the ramp, continue along the accessible pathway heading south toward
the entrance. An additional
accessible entrance is located on the southwest side of the building facing Via
Palou. To access this entrance follow the pedestrian pathway along Via Pueblo,
through the arcade to the entrance.
There is also an interior hallway that connects the main Paul G. Allen
Center to the Annex. The elevator
is located to the left once inside the main entrance and provides access to all
levels (1, 2).
Restrooms:
Wheelchair accessible men¿s and women¿s
restrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors, around
the corner from the elevator on the left.
Parking & Transportation:
The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located
north of the building, near the Paul G. Allen Annex on Jane Stanford way. Disabled
parking is located at Parking Structure 2 (corner of Via Ortega and Panama
Street), or at adjacent Visitor Parking lot directly across from Y2E2.
Points of Interest:
Cafes
are located in the Science and Engineering Quad (SEQ) and inside the Packard
Building.
