BUILDING 420 - MAIN QUAD (01-420)

Building 420, Jordan Hall, is located on the north side (Serra Mall side) of the outer Main Quad.From the Oval, use the ramped path to the right of the steps to reach the arcade level. Turn right at the arcade and proceed down the Outer Quad arcade. Building 420 is located on the left side, just past Building 460.

Building 420 houses the Psychology department. There are office spaces and various classrooms, multi-purpose rooms and conference areas throughout the building. The Psychology department library is located on the 1st floor. Two large classrooms are located on the basement level (LL).

There are two accessible entrances located along Serra Mall (Outer Quad). The entrance closest to Building 460 is equipped with a power-operated door. There are two elevators located in Building 420 that provide wheelchair access to all floors of the building (LL, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Once inside the main entrance, equipped with the power door, the elevator is on the left side. The other elevator is located at the rear of the building. On the basement level, power-operated doors provide access to outdoor courtyards between Building 420 and Building 460, and access between Building 420 and Building 380. Wheelchair access to Classroom 050 in Building 420 is through an exterior entrance in the courtyard between Building 380 and Building 420. Wheelchair access to Classroom 041 is located via Building 380 (elevator to the basement level, turn right and Classroom 041 is straight ahead). Wheelchair seating in Classroom 041 is located in the front. There are also two accessible entrances at the rear of Building 420 via the courtyard. Wheelchair accessible men's and women's multi-stall restrooms are centrally located on the basement level (LL) and on the 1st floor. Single-occupancy men's and women's wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the 2nd and 4th floors and two all-gender single-occupancy restrooms are located on the 5th floor. Please note there are no wheelchair accessible restrooms on the 3rd floor.

The Marguerite shuttle stop is located directly in front of the Main Quad on Serra Mall. Disabled parking is located at the top of the Oval, on either side, for closer access to the front of the Main Quad.
