Location Tip:

Dinkelspiel Auditorium is located at 471 Lagunita Drive. It is adjacent to the Braun Music Center and across from Tresidder Union.

Use/Purpose:

Dinkelspiel is one of the major auditoriums on campus and is used for concerts, performances, lectures, and various events.

Accessible Entrance:

The main entrance to Dinkelspiel is accessible via a pathway to the right of the stairs that leads to the top of the stairs. The far right entrance is equipped with a power-operated door. Once inside the auditorium, wheelchair seating is located at the rear of the auditorium. Additional wheelchair seating is located at the front of the auditorium via a side entrance on the south side of the building. Wheelchair access to the stage area is available at that rear entrance of Dinkelspiel via a ramp near Campbell Music Center. Wheelchair users wishing to access front row seating in the auditorium and/or the stage area are encouraged to contact the Diversity & Access Office at (650) 725-0326 or disability.access@stanford.edu for coordination.

Restrooms:

A wheelchair accessible unisex restroom is located to the right once inside the main entrance of Dinkelspiel.

Parking & Transportation:

A limited amount of disabled parking is located just south of the Braun Music Center. Additional disabled parking is located on Lagunita Drive and in the Tresidder parking lot (L-39). A Marguerite shuttle stop is located behind Tresidder Union on Lagunita Drive.

Points of Interest:

The Stanford Bookstore is located adjacent to the Post Office and provides the opportunity to shop for books, school supplies, and Stanford apparel. There are often special events occuring in White Plaza, including career fairs, craft fairs, art shows, performances, and student-led protests.
