Building 320, Braun Corner ("Geology Corner") is
located at the southwest corner (Escondido Mall/Lomita side) of the outer Main
Quad. From the Oval, use the ramped path to the right of the steps to
reach the arcade level. Continue
along the pathway heading towards Memorial Church. Once at the front of Memorial Church,
turn right and continue to the end of the arcade. Turn left and continue down the outer
arcade. Building 320 will be at the
end of the pathway on the left.
Use/Purpose:
Building
320 is occupied by Environmental Earth System Sciences and Geological and
Environmental Sciences. Office
spaces are located on all floors of the building and smaller classrooms are
located on the 1st and 2nd floors. There is also a large classroom located
at the east end of the building with wheelchair seating in the front row and at
the top row (via ramp). An elevator
provides access to all floors of the building (1, 2, 3).
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance to Building 320 is located on
the Lomita Mall side and is equipped with a power-operated door. Once inside, the elevator is to the
left. There is an additional
accessible entrance on the east side of the building and classroom 105 and 107
can be accessed via exterior entrance on the south side of the building
(Escondido Mall).
Restrooms:
Women's wheelchair accessible multi-stall restrooms
are located on the 1st and 2nd floors. There is a multi-stall wheelchair
accessible men's restroom on the 2nd floor. There are no restrooms on the 3rd
floor. There is a single-occupancy,
all-gender restroom to the east of Building 320 once exiting this
building.
Parking & Transportation:
The Marguerite shuttle stop is directly in front of
the Main Quad on Serra Mall.
Disabled parking is located at the top of the Oval on either side for
closer access to the front of the Main Quad. For closer access to
buildings along the back end of the Main Quad, the closest parking is available
at the end of Santa Teresa Street, near Duena Street
or in a small parking lot near Duena Street and
Panama Mall. There is a limited amount of disabled parking located behind MemChu via Duena Street (gate
access code required). Contact the Diversity and Access Office at (650)

Points of Interest:
While at the Main Quad, visit Memorial
Church or the Rodin Collection in Memorial Court. There are also several cafes
