Tips for Viewing and Editing Downloadable Maps
Use the Adobe PDF Reader to view, or share the map as is.
To edit in Abobe Illustrator, save the AI file on your hard drive. In Illustrator, layers can be accessed or locked by clicking on the Lock icon in the layers palette.
Use caution when removing layers. The black arrow tool in the tools palette will then allow you to select features and move them around. Use the white arrow tool to edit within grouped features.
