The Bing Nursery School
is located at 850 Escondido Road.
It is adjacent to the Tower House and across from the Pepper Tree
House.
Use/Purpose:
The Bing Nursery School
was constructed as a laboratory school in 1966. The purpose of the school is to provide
a laboratory where undergraduates at Stanford can learn first-hand about child
development and where faculty and graduate students can conduct research in
child development. Each year 400
children, age two to five years are enrolled in the school.
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance to the
administrative offices at the Bing Nursery School is accessible and equipped
with a power-operated door.
Restrooms:
A
wheelchair accessible unisex restroom is located on the right once inside the
interior courtyard. Check-in at the
front desk is required in order to access the area where the restroom is
located.
Parking & Transportation:
The
closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located on Escondido Road and Campus
Drive. Disabled parking is located
on Escondido Road near the Bing Nursery.
