The
Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center is located at 326
Galvez Street. It is located on the corner of Campus Drive and Galvez Street,
and can be found across the street from the Arrillaga
Center for Sports and Recreation.
Use/Purpose:
Honoring
Frances C. Arrillaga, the Alumni Center serves as a
wonderful facility for returning alumni.The Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center contains nearly 30,000 square feet
on the main floor, which is specifically designed for the comfort and well-being
of Stanford's alumni including the Dwight Family Living Room, the Bing Library,
outdoor gardens, a business center and the Alumni Café. On the 1st
floor, McCaw Hall is located on the south side and the Fisher Conference Center
on the north side. The Stanford Alumni Association and the Office of
Development are housed on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the
Alumni Center.
Accessible Entrance:
The
main entrance of the Alumni Center is accessible and equipped with a
power-operated door. There is another accessible entrance on the north side of
the building (Campus Drive side) leading directly to the Fisher Conference
Center. An exterior entrance leads directly to the Alumni Café. Once inside,
the elevator is located directly behind the Reception area and provides access
to all floors (1, 2, 3). There are also accessible entrances leading to the
outdoor garden. Note that card-reader access is required for the 2nd
and 3rd floors.
Restrooms:
All
restrooms in the Alumni center are wheelchair accessible. Men's and women's
multi-occupancy restrooms are located on all floors (north and south side of
the building) and single-occupancy restrooms are available on the 1st
floor (inside the business center) and 3rd floor.
Parking & Transportation:
Disabled
parking is located along Galvez Street and additional parking is located along
Memorial Way. The closest Marguerite Shuttle stop is located on Galvez Street
directly in front of the Alumni Center.
