Location Tip:

The Bass Biology Research Building is located at 327 Campus Drive. It is adjacent to the Gates Computer Science Building and across from the Clark Center.

Use/Purpose:

The Bass Biology Building is occupied by faculty and administrative offices and research labs. There are also conference rooms and meeting areas throughout the building.

Accessible Entrance:

The main entrance to the Bass Building is located via a ramp and/or an accessible pathway on the east side of the building via North-South Axis Road. A ramp is located on the right, if you are facing the building from North-South Axis Road, and the accessible pathway is via the sidewalk from Gates heading north on North-South Axis Road and on the left side. The north and south side of the building are equipped with power-operated doors. Once inside the south side entrance (left side), there are elevators on either side that provide access to all floors of the building (LL, 1, 2, 3, 4). Once inside the north entrance, step-free access is limited to the first floor only. The north and south sides connect via interior hallways on all other floors except the first floor. Please note, there is not a step-free pathway on the west side (Campus Drive) of Bass to get to the entrance. From the west side of the building, continue south on Campus Drive, turn left and continue along the pathway between Gates and Bass to get to North-South Axis Road.

Restrooms:

All restrooms in the Bass Building are wheelchair accessible. Men¿s and women¿s multi-occupancy restrooms are located on the south side of the building near the elevator on all levels. A single-occupancy, all-gender restroom is located on the south side of the building at the end of the hall, on the left.

Parking & Transportation:

The nearest disabled parking is located at the Roth Way Parking Garage at the corner of Roth Way and Campus Drive. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located on Serra Mall.
