The E.D. Stone-Edwards
Building is located at 300 Pasteur Drive.
It is located to the north of the Beckman Center and connects to the E.D.
Stone-Lane Building.
Use/Purpose:
The Edwards Building
houses a variety of School of Medicine departments. A variety of office space and
lab/research areas occupy all levels of the building.
Accessible Entrance:
There are two accessible
entrances on the west side of the Edwards Building (across from CCSR). There is also an entrance equipped with
a power-operated door on the south side of the building (across from the Li Ka
Shing Center) that leads into an interior corridor
connecting the Edwards Building and the Lane Building. While there is no elevator inside the
Edwards building, there is an elevator in the interior corridor (left side)
between Edwards and Lane and provides access to all levels (G, 1, 2, 3).
Restrooms:
There are no wheelchair
accessible restrooms within the Edwards Building. However, accessible men's and women's restrooms are located on the
1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors in the corridor
between the Edwards Building and the Lane Building.
Parking & Transportation:
The nearest disabled
parking is located in Parking Structure 4 on Pasteur Drive. The nearest Marguerite shuttle stop is
located on either side of the Medical Center.
Points of Interest:
While in the area, visit
the SIM1 building, which houses the Dale Chihuly
Chandelier, Tre Stelle di Lapislazzuli.
In addition there are several cafes located throughout the School of
