The E.D. Stone Lane
Building is located at 300 Pasteur Drive.
It is connected to the E.D. Stone-Edwards Building (west side) and to the
E.D. Stone Always Building (east side).
It is directly across from the Li Ka Shing
Center.
Use/Purpose:
The Lane Building houses
a variety of School of Medicine departments. A variety of office space and
lab/research areas occupy all levels of the building. The School of Medicine Library (Lane
Library) is located on the north side of the building.
Accessible Entrance:
There are two accessible
entrances on the south side of the Lane Building, equipped with power-operated
doors. Once inside either of the
entrances, an elevator is located on the left side to access all levels of the
building (G, 1, 2, 3). Interior
corridors provide access through the Lane Building to the Alway Building and the Edwards Building. There are also two accessible entrances,
equipped with power-operated doors, on the north side of the building via an
exterior courtyard between the Lane Building and the Boswell Clinic. The entrance to the Lane Library,
equipped with a power-operated door, is located via the exterior courtyard on
the north side of the Lane Building.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair accessible
men's and women's restrooms are located on the 1st, 2nd,
and 3rd floors in the corridors on the east and west sides of the
Lane Building (connecting it to the Always and Edwards Buildings). There are no restrooms inside the Lane
Library.
Parking & Transportation:
The nearest disabled
parking is located in Parking Structure 4 on Pasteur Drive. The nearest Marguerite shuttle stop is
located on either side of the Medical Center.
Points of Interest:
While in the area, visit
the SIM1 building, which houses the Dale Chihuly
Chandelier, Tre Stelle di Lapislazzuli.
