The
Cantor Arts Center is located at 328 Lomita Drive. It is located at the corner of Museum Way and
Lomita Drive to the west of Palm Drive.
Use/Purpose:
The
Cantor Arts Center provides Stanford community members with a diverse
collection of art exhibits that span continents and cultures and includes one
of the largest presentations of Rodin bronze sculptures outside of Paris. The Cantor Arts Center also offers docent
tours, lectures, gallery talks, symposia, classes, and special events.For more information and a calendar of events

Accessible Entrance:
The
main entrance of the Cantor Arts Center (Lomita Drive) is not accessible. The
accessible entrance is down a pathway just to the left of the main entrance
stairs. Just inside the accessible
entrance, equipped with a power-operated door, an enclosed wheelchair lift
provides access to the 1st floor main lobby. Just past the main lobby, an elevator
provides access to the 1st and 2nd floors.There is also a wheelchair accessible
entrance, equipped with a power-operated door, located on the south side of the
building (Roth Way) via a ramp. The museum cafe, Tootsie's at Cantor is located beyond the entrance. An elevator is also located directly across
from the cafe providing access to the 1st and 2nd
floors.The Richard Serra: Sequence is located
outside the north side of the building.
Wheelchair access is available by exiting the Cantor Arts Center just
past the Stanford Family Room and onto the Doris & Donald Fisher
Terrace. Once outside, a ramp provides
wheelchair access to the Sequence
sculpture.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair
accessible men's and women's restrooms are located on the 1st floor
beyond the main lobby and immediately across from the elevator. Multi-occupancy all-gender restrooms are located on the basement level.
Parking & Transportation:
Disability
parking is located along Lomita Drive near the main entrance of the Cantor Arts
Center. Additional disability parking is
located on Museum Way and in Parking Structure 1 (Roth Way & Campus Drive).
There is a passenger loading zone located along Roth Way, which can be used to
drop-off guests with mobility limitations who can then enter the building via
the ramp to the south side of the building (near the museum cafe).
Points of Interest:
While at the Cantor Arts Center, visit the outdoor Rodin sculpture
garden and our next-door neighbor, the Anderson Collection at Stanford University.
