Encina
Hall is located at 616 Serra Street.
It is located across from the Burnham Pavilion and between Encina Hall East and Encina Hall
West.
Use/Purpose:
Encina
Hall is occupied by the Freeman Spogli
Institute
for International Studies (FSI) on the 1st floor and the Center for
International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) on the 2nd floor. The Bechtel Conference Center is also
located on the 1st floor, just past the elevator.
Accessible Entrance:
The
main entrance to Encina Hall is accessible via a ramp
along the west side of the building (Galvez Mall). Once at the top of the ramp, follow the
pathway around the corner, leading to the main entrance of Encina Hall.
The main entrance is equipped with a power-operated door. Once inside, the elevator is directly
ahead and provides access to all floors (GS, G, 1S, 1, 2, 3, 4). Encina Hall
can also be accessed via connecting hallways from Encina Hall East and Encina Hall
West. Finally, there is an
accessible entrance at the rear of Encina Hall via a
pathway from Arguella Way through the exterior
courtyard. This entrance, located
at the GS level, is keycard access only. The 1S level, via the elevator,
provides step-free access to the Bechtel Conference Center.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair
accessible men's and women's restrooms are located on
the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors on
either side of the elevator. There
are also wheelchair accessible men's and women's restrooms located on the GS
level. Once off the elevator,
continue down the hallway and the restrooms are on the left.
Parking & Transportation:
Disabled
parking is located in the parking lot directly in front of Encina Hall.
Additional disabled parking is located along Galvez Street. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is
located on Serra Mall in front of Encina Hall.
Points of Interest:
Visit
the Herbert Hoover Memorial Exhibit Pavilion and the Hoover tower located to the
