Location Tip:

Durand is located at 496 Lomita Mall.  It is across from Mitchell and adjacent to McCullough and Green Earth Sciences.

Use/Purpose:

Durand houses Aeronautics & Astronautics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering (1st Floor), and the Stanford Center for Professional Development (2nd Floor).  Office space, labs, and conference rooms are located throughout Durand.  The Spilker Conference Room is located on the 4th floor.  The elevator provides access to all floors (G, 1, 2, 3, 4). 

Accessible Entrance:

The main entrance of Durand (across from Mitchell) is accessible via a wheelchair ramp to the right of the stairs and is equipped with a power-operated door.  The elevator is centrally located just inside the main entrance.  The rear entrance of Durand (across from Green Earth Sciences) is also equipped with a power-operated door and is accessible via a pathway/ramp along Panama Mall. 

Restrooms:

Parking & Transportation:

Disabled parking is located on Santa Teresa Street near Lomita Drive.  Additional disabled parking is available at the Roble underground parking garage located along Via Ortega, near Santa Teresa Street.  Marguerite shuttle stops are located along Santa Teresa Street, Via Ortega and on Serra Mall.
