Location Tip:

The Spilker Engineering & Applied Sciences Building is located at 348 Via Pueblo Mall. It is across from the Packard Building and located in the center of the Science and Engineering Quad near the Huang Building.

Use/Purpose:

The Spilker Engineering & Applied Sciences Building, also known as the Nano Building, houses the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering, Department of Applied Physics, and Ginzton Laboratory. Offices and laboratories are located throughout the building.

Accessible Entrance:

All entrances to the building are wheelchair accessible. The main entrance is located on the south side of the building (across from Huang Building) and is equipped with a power-operated door.  Additional entrances are located on the south side of the building and another entrance is located on the west side of the building. Once inside the main entrance, an elevator is located to the right and provides access to all floors (SB, B, 1, 2, and 3). Another elevator is located near the northwest corner of the building, but access is limited to the 1st floor, SR (loading area), and basement levels. At the basement level, an interior corridor connects the Spilker Building to the Huang Building and the Shriram Center.

Restrooms:

Wheelchair accessible men¿s and women¿s multi-occupancy restrooms are centrally located on all floors.Two single-occupancy, all-gender restrooms with accessible showers are located on the basement level (on the north side of the building directly opposite the men¿s and women¿s restrooms).

Parking & Transportation:

Marguerite shuttle stops are located on Serra Mall, near the front of the Hewlett Teaching Center. There are two disabled parking spaces located directly behind the Nano Building on Via Pueblo. Additional disabled parking is located at Parking Structure 2 (at the corner of Via Ortega and Panama Street).

Points of Interest:
