Location Tip:

Sweet Hall is located at 590 Escondido Mall. It is adjacent to the Center for Educational Research (CERAS) building and near Meyer Library.

Use/Purpose:

Sweet Hall houses a number of Undergraduate Education departments. These include the Undergraduate Academic Advising Program, Program in Writing and Rhetoric, Stanford Introductory Studies (SIS), the Bing Overseas Studies Program (BOSP), Community Engaged Learning (HAAS), and the Vice Provost's Office (VPO) for Undergraduate Education. The building is comprised of office spaces, large and small conference rooms, and meeting areas. There is an exterior patio located on the basement level.

Accessible Entrance:

The main entrance, equipped with a power-operated door, is accessible via a pathway located to the right of the stairs. An elevator is located to the left of the entrance and provides access to all floors (4, 3, 2, 1, B). Interior doors on each floor leading into the departmental office area are equipped with a power-operated door. The exterior patio is accessible via the elevator to the basement level.

Restrooms:

Wheelchair accessible men's and women's and all-gender restrooms are located on the basement, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floor levels. Wheelchair accessible unisex restrooms are located on the 4th floor.

Parking & Transportation:

The closest disabled parking available is on Alvarado Row between Stern Hall and the Center for Educational Research. Additional disabled parking is located on Escondido Road. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located at Tresidder Union or on Campus Drive near Escondido Road.

Points of Interest:

Coupa Café is located to the north of Sweet Hall, outside Green Library.
