The School of Education building (Cubberley Auditorium) is located at 485 Lasuen Mall.
It is located between the Barnum Center and the Bing Wing (Green Library
West). It is directly across from the southeast corner of the Main Quad. THE GSE AND SURROUNDING AREA ARE UNDER CONSTRUCTION. --OPENING SPRING 2025 -- https://headsup.stanford.edu/GSE.
Use/Purpose:
The School of Education, commonly referred to as "Cubberley," is home to Cubberley Auditorium, located on the 1st floor. Graduate and undergraduate
classrooms are located throughout the building and the Education Library is
located on the 2nd floor.
Administrative offices are located throughout the building and a cafe is
located in the basement.
Accessible Entrance:
The
main entrance, equipped with a power-operated door, is accessible via a pathway
on the southwest corner of the building (across from the Clock Tower).Another accessible entrance is located
on the southeast side of the building via a ramp.
Once inside the main entrance, the elevator is located to the left and
provides access to all floors (B, 1, 2, 3).
Restrooms:
A
wheelchair accessible unisex restroom is located on the 1st floor to
the right, once inside the main entrance and at the end of the hall.
There is also a men's wheelchair accessible restroom on the
2nd floor and a wheelchair accessible restroom in the basement.
Parking & Transportation:
The
closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located on Serra Mall, near the Art
Gallery. Disabled parking is
located at the top of the Oval.
Additional disabled parking is located at the end of Panama Mall, near
the Nitery. There
is a limited amount of disabled parking located behind MemChu via Duena Street (gate
access code required). Contact the Diversity and Access Office at (650)

Points of Interest:
The Stanford Bookstore and White Plaza
are near the School of Education and there are several eateries in the area.
