Location Tip:

The 408 Panama Mall building is located at the corner of Lomita Mall and Panama Mall. It is located across from Mitchell Earth Sciences.

Use/Purpose:

408 Panama is an administrative building that includes office and meeting spaces for a variety of administrative business units, including the Vice Provost for Teaching & Learning (VPTL).

Accessible Entrance:

The main entrance, equipped with a power-operated door, is accessible and located via a pathway from Panama Mall. Once inside, the elevator is located directly to the right (on the left side of the corridor) and provides access to all floors of the building (B, 1, 2, 3). An outdoor courtyard is also accessible directly across the lobby from the main entrance.

Restrooms:

Wheelchair accessible men's and women's multi-occupancy restrooms are located on all floors on the west side of the building. A wheelchair accessible single-occupancy, all gender restroom is located on the 2nd floor between the men's and women's restroom.

Parking & Transportation:

The nearest disabled parking is located on Santa Teresa Street, near the corner of Santa Teresa Street and Lomita Drive. Additional disabled parking is located across the street in Lot-37. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located at Santa Teresa Street and Lomita Drive, or on Jane stanford way near the front of the Main Quad.

Points of Interest:

The New Guinea Sculpture Garden, one of the most unique sites on campus, is located at the corner of Santa Teresa Street and Lomita Drive. Ten artists from New Guinea created the stone and wooden sculptures during a five-month visit in 1994.
