The
Fire Truck House is located at 433 Santa Teresa Street. It is across the
street from the Humanities Center and near Tresidder
Union.
Use/Purpose:
The
LGBT Community Resource Center occupies the Fire Truck House. Office space and meeting areas are
located throughout the building.
Accessible Entrance:
The
main entrance of the Fire Truck House, equipped with a power-operated door, is
the only accessible entrance. Once inside, the elevator is straight ahead
and on the right if heading towards the rear entrance. The elevator provides access to the
1st and 2nd floors.
Restrooms:
A
wheelchair accessible unisex restroom is located on the 1st floor
across from the elevator on the left.
Parking & Transportation:
The
closest disabled parking is located in front of the Fire Truck House on Santa
Teresa Street. Additional disabled
parking is located in the L-37 parking lot at the corner of Lomita Drive and
Santa Teresa Street near the west side of the Humanities Center. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is
located at the corner of Lomita Drive and Santa Teresa Street.
Points of Interest:
The
Papua New Guinea Sculpture Garden is located near the Humanities Center. Tresidder
Union is also located near the Fire Truck House and is home to several
