The
Center for Educational Research (CERAS) is located at 520 Galvez Mall. It is at the corner of Galvez Mall and
Nathan Abbott Way, between Sweet Hall and the Law School.
Use/Purpose:
CERAS
is affiliated with the Stanford School of Education. It houses the education
department faculty, staff, and graduate students. It also houses various other
research groups from other university departments. An auditorium for classes and
events is also located on the first floor of the building.
Accessible Entrance:
There
are two entrances to CERAS and two elevators once inside to access all floors of
the building. The north entrance
located on the 1st floor (near Sweet Hall) is accessible and equipped
with a power-operated door. The
elevator is located to the right and provides access to the 1st,
2nd and 4th floors.
The south entrance (near Law School) is on the 2nd floor, and
is also accessible and equipped with a power-operated door. Once inside, the elevator is located at
the end of the hallway on the right.
This elevator provides access to the 1st, 3rd, and
5th floors of the building.
Restrooms:
A
women's wheelchair accessible restroom is located on the 1st floor
and a men's wheelchair accessible restroom is located on the 2nd
floor. These restrooms are located
on the north side of the building (Sweet Hall side).
Parking & Transportation:
A
limited amount of disabled parking is located across the street from the south
entrance on Galvez near Donner Hall. Additional disabled parking is located at
Parking Structure 6 (Arguello Mall and Campus
Drive). The nearest Marguerite
shuttle stop is located at Campus Drive near Alvarado Row.
Points of Interest:
The
