Building 380, Sloan Mathematical Center, ("Math
Corner") is located at the northwest corner (Lomita Mall/Serra Mall side) of
the outer Main Quad. From the Oval, use the ramped path to the right of
the steps to reach the arcade level.
Turn right at the arcade and proceed down to the end of the Outer Quad
arcade. Building 380 is on the left
side just past Building 420.
Use/Purpose:
Building
380 is occupied by the Math department.
An elevator provides wheelchair access to all floors of the
building. There are office spaces
and various classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, and conference areas throughout
the building. Most of the
classrooms are located on the basement level.
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance to Building 380 is located
along Serra Mall (Outer Quad) and is equipped with a power-operated door. The elevator, located just inside the
main entrance, provides access to all floors (B, 1, 2, 3, 4). There is also another accessible
entrance located via the courtyard at the rear of Building 380. Once at the basement level, there is a
power-operated door leading to the outdoor courtyard between Building 380 and
Building 420. A ramp provides
access to Building 420 at this level.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair accessible men's and women's multi-stall
restrooms are located in the basement and on the 1st and 4th
floors. There are no wheelchair
accessible restrooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Parking & Transportation:
The Marguerite shuttle stop is directly in front of
the Main Quad on Serra Mall.
Disabled parking is located at the top of the Oval on either side for
closer access to the front of the Main Quad.
Points of Interest:
While at the Main Quad, visit Memorial
Church or the Rodin Collection in Memorial Court. There are also several cafes
