Building 200, also known as the "History Corner,"
is located at the northeast corner of the outer Main Quad. From the Oval,
use the ramped path to the right of the steps to reach the arcade level. Turn left at the arcade and proceed down
to the end of the Outer Quad arcade.
Building 200 is on the right side just past Building 160.
Use/Purpose:
Building
200 is occupied by the History department, and the department of Science,
Technology & Society. An
elevator provides wheelchair access to all floors of the building. There are office spaces and various
classrooms, multi-purpose rooms, and conference areas throughout the
building.
Accessible Entrance:
The main entrance, located via the Outer Quad
arcade, is equipped with a power-operated door. Once inside the main entrance, the
elevator is straight ahead and on the left side. There are also two additional
step-free entrances, one with a power-operated door, at the rear of Building
200 (closest to Lasuen
Mall via arcade). The other step-free
entrance is via the courtyard between Building 200 and Building 160 but does not contain a power operated door. Once inside a hallway on the left and
through a doorway connects Building 200 to Building 160 on the 1st
floor.
Restrooms:
There are an all-gender single occupancy restroom located on the 1st floor (rm 01-103). Wheelchair accessible men's
and women's restrooms multi-stall restrooms are located on the ground level and
the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Parking & Transportation:
The Marguerite shuttle stop is directly in front of
the Main Quad on Serra Mall. Disabled parking is located at the top of the Oval
on either side for closer access to the front of the Main Quad.
Points of Interest:
While at the Main Quad, visit Memorial
Church or the Rodin Collection in Memorial Court. There are also several cafes
in the Main Quad area, including Olive's (wheelchair accessible entrance to
Olive's and outdoor courtyard available via the elevator in Building 160 to the
