Location Tip:

Building 160, also known as Wallenberg Hall, is located on the north side of the Main Quad. From the Oval, use the ramped path to the right of the steps to reach the arcade level. Turn left at the arcade and proceed down the Outer Quad arcade. Building 160 is on the right side just past Building 120.

Use/Purpose:

Building 160 is a multi-use, four-floor building with a basement level. An elevator provides wheelchair access to all floors of the building. Office spaces, classrooms, multi-purpose rooms and conference areas are located throughout the building.

Accessible Entrance:

There are two accessible entrances, one equipped with a power-operated door, located via the Outer Quad arcade. There is also an accessible entrance that connects Building 160 and Building 200 through a doorway on the east side of the building near a lounge area. Once inside the main entrance, head down the hallway to the left and the elevator is located towards the rear of the building. The elevator is used to access both Buildings 160 and 170. Once inside the elevator, the panel to access all floors of Building 160 is straight ahead and reads accordingly:2nd floor - Administration (card reader access only, before 8am and after 5pm)3rd floor - Classrooms 314-3324th floor - Research floor, (card reader access only, before 8am and after 5pm)The panel to access Building 170 is to the right when you enter the elevator and reads accordingly:Basement - Bldg 160/170 - classrooms B35-B40 & Olives Cafe1st floor - Bldg 160/170 Exit Level2nd floor - Bldg 170 3rd floor - Bldg 170 Not Classrooms (use panel behind you)

Restrooms:

Wheelchair accessible multi-stall men's and women's restrooms are located on all levels of the building. The 4th floor restrooms are located down the hall to the left once off the elevator (Building 160 side only). The basement, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor restrooms are at the rear of the building on the right just past the elevator. Please note there are no 3rd floor restrooms on the Building 160 side, however 3rd floor restrooms can be accessed via elevator (Building 170 elevator panel button).

Parking & Transportation:

Disabled parking is located at the top of the Oval on either side for closer access to the front of the Main Quad. The closest Marguerite shuttle stop is located directly in front of the Main Quad on Serra Mall.

Points of Interest:

While at the Main Quad, visit Memorial Church or the Rodin Collection in Memorial Court. There are also several cafes located in the Main Quad area, including Olive's (wheelchair accessible entrance to Olive's and outdoor courtyard available via the elevator in Building 160 to the basement level).http://www.stanford.edu/dept/visitorinfo/activities/dining.html.
